Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The manuscript has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication in another journal (or this has been explained in Comments to the Editor).
• The manuscript file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document format.
• References that can be accessed online have their URLs provided.
• The manuscript is typed in single spacing; font size 12; uses italics rather than underlining (except for URLs); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than grouped separately at the end of the manuscript.
• The manuscript follows the style guidelines and bibliography requirements specified in the Author Guidelines.
