Focus and Scope
Journal of Fashion Design and Textiles (DESILLES). Our scope includes, but is not limited to:
- Fashion Design: Investigations into design methodologies, trends, sustainable practices, and technological advancements in fashion. This includes analyses of fashion as an art form, its role in identity construction, and its cultural significance.
- Textiles: Research on traditional and modern textile techniques, materials, and practices. Studies on innovation in textile technology and the impact of digitalization on textile production are highly encouraged.
- Sustainability and Ethics: Discussions on ethical issues in fashion production, consumption, and disposal. We welcome research on sustainable design practices, eco-friendly materials, and the circular economy within the fashion and textile industry.
