About the Journal

DESILLES: Journal of Fashion Design, Textile Craft, Culture, and Art is an academic platform dedicated to advancing knowledge and research in the interrelated fields of fashion design, textile craft, cultural studies, and the arts. We welcome contributions that explore the intersection of creative practice, innovation, historical perspectives, and contemporary issues within these fields. Our scope includes, but is not limited to:

1. Fashion Design: Investigations into design methodologies, trends, sustainable practices, and technological advancements in fashion. This includes analyses of fashion as an art form, its role in identity construction, and its cultural significance.
2. Textile Craft: Research on traditional and modern textile techniques, materials, and practices. Studies on the preservation of craft heritage, innovation in textile technology, and the impact of digitalization on textile production are highly encouraged.
